About

Speechify turns documents, PDFs and web pages into audio using 1,000+ voices in 60+ languages, and supports voice typing that the company says is up to five times faster than typing. Other features include an AI voice generator, AI podcasts created from documents or descriptions, a meeting note taker that records and summarizes calls, and a voice assistant for questions and summaries. It runs on iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, the web and Chrome and Edge extensions. The about page tells the story of founder Cliff Weitzman, who built it while at Brown University to cope with dyslexia.
