Overview
AWS Strands Agents is a model-agnostic agent SDK that provides multi-agent orchestration, MCP support, default tracing, tool-call hooks, and the Strands Evals testing framework. Developers define a model, tools, and prompt, while the SDK supplies the agent loop, context management, guardrails, execution limits, and OpenTelemetry tracing. Strands Agents enables building production-ready AI agents with built-in observability and evaluation capabilities on AWS infrastructure.
