Edapholog
Hardware, edge & robotics
Overview
Edapholog combines the Berlese-Tullgren funnel technique with artificial intelligence to assess soil microarthropod biodiversity. It measures diversity, abundance, and biomass, identifies microarthropods at the taxonomic level, and calculates the Soil Biological Quality Index (QBS-ar). The technology has been piloted with 50 sensors in 13 European countries, involving growers, researchers, and advisors across various soil types.
