NTT DATA's GenAI implementation work for BMW Group spans architecture consulting, delivery and continuing operations under a BizDevOps model. Responsibilities include adding functional and technical requirements, advising on cloud architecture, and extending CI/CD pipelines to support new functionality. The cloud-native platform was developed with BMW IT Hubs, AWS and Microsoft and is used across BMW's worldwide operations. It provides a central environment for generative AI, with governance and data protection supporting adoption by business units and nontechnical employees. The case study reports more than 9,000 GenAI applications and over 60,000 employees using its self-service portal.
